The past few weeks have been all about connecting with customers, partners and industry professionals. From valuable conversations with perennial growers in the United States to welcoming visitors during FlowerTrials® in the Netherlands, both events provided excellent opportunities to exchange ideas, discuss market developments and look ahead to the seasons ahead. 

Darwin Perennials Day: strengthening relationships in the USA

On 17 June, our colleagues Kees van der Meij and Joey Hufman attended Darwin Perennials Day at The Gardens at Ball in West Chicago. This annual event brings together leading perennial suppliers and horticultural professionals, creating the perfect setting to strengthen existing relationships and connect with new customers. 

Throughout the day, we discussed developments within the bare root perennial market, shared insights and explored opportunities for the upcoming seasons. 

One thing stood out in particular: the positive atmosphere among growers. Strong spring sales, including excellent results around Mother’s Day and Memorial Day, have created confidence throughout the market. 

For Kébol, events like Darwin Perennials Day are an important opportunity to stay connected with the industry, gather valuable market insights and present our extensive Autumn and Spring assortments. 

FlowerTrials® 2026: welcoming partners to our location

From 9–12 June, our location in Rijsenhout once again became part of FlowerTrials® 2026. Throughout the week, we welcomed visitors from around the world and hosted our partners Benary, Elsner PAC and Volmary. 

FlowerTrials® is one of the industry’s leading events, bringing together breeders, growers and horticultural professionals to discover new genetics, market trends and innovative developments. 

For Kébol, it is also a valuable opportunity to meet customers face-to-face, exchange ideas and discuss future opportunities. Throughout the week, we had many inspiring conversations about assortments, market developments and long-term collaborations. 

We look back on a successful edition and would like to thank everyone who visited us.
