Over the past ten years, Chan Chan Amaryl® has continued to develop. Crops have grown, expertise has expanded and cultivation methods have been continuously improved. Throughout this journey, one principle has always remained at the heart of everything we do: delivering consistent and reliable quality.
Behind every Amaryllis bulb is a dedicated team with years of experience and a shared passion for the product. From cultivation in Peru to sorting, inspection and preparation for delivery, every step requires knowledge, precision and attention.
By growing our own Chan Chan Amaryl® bulbs, we remain closely involved throughout the production process. This gives us valuable insight into the development of the crops and allows us to monitor quality from the very beginning.
Long before the bulbs reach our customers, they receive careful attention in the fields of Chan Chan Amaryl® in Peru. Months of preparation and monitoring take place before the harvest can begin. Throughout the growing season, the crops are closely monitored to determine whether the bulbs are developing as expected and when they are ready to be harvested.
Favourable growing conditions, careful crop management and continuous monitoring provide the foundation for strong and uniform Amaryllis bulbs. By staying closely involved in the growing process, the team can follow the development of the crop and prepare the bulbs carefully for the next stage.
After harvesting, the bulbs are carefully lifted, sorted and prepared for further processing. Every step contributes to a reliable and consistent chain, from the fields in Peru to the customers receiving the final product.
Quality control continues once the bulbs move to the next stage of the process. Before proceeding, every Amaryllis bulb is carefully inspected. Size, quality and uniformity are all checked to ensure that the bulbs meet the high standards our customers expect. These inspections help us create consistent batches and deliver reliable products season after season.
At Kébol, quality control is therefore not simply a final check before delivery. It is an essential part of the process. By paying close attention to every bulb, differences can be identified before the product moves on to the next step.
