Amaryllis Bulbs to Our Greenhouse in Rijsenhout
The foundation for
our pre-sprouted Amaryllis bulbs is laid at Chan Chan Amaryl, our nursery in Peru. There, high-quality Amaryllis bulbs are grown; upon arrival in the Netherlands, some of them are selected for the pre-sprouting process.
In our heated greenhouse in Rijsenhout, the bulbs are placed on carts, where they can sprout under optimal conditions. This is how we carefully prepare each bulb for the next step.
Carefully Selected During the Pre-sprouting Season
Pre-sprouting is all about timing. Depending on the customer’s preferences, the bulbs are selected based on criteria such as sprout length and flower color.
We offer two specifications: a sprout length of 1–2 cm and 3–5 cm. As soon as the bulbs meet the requested specifications, they are removed from the carts and placed in the appropriate packaging. We then store them in our cold storage facilities until delivery.
Flexible Delivery for Creative Applications
Our pre-sprouted Amaryllis bulbs are particularly well-suited for companies that create value-added products, such as floral arrangements in vases and pots.
Thanks to on-demand and just-in-time delivery, customers can plan their production with precision. Additionally, the bulbs are delivered in EFC crates, which we pick up again after use.
With this approach, we combine high-quality Amaryllis bulbs with flexible and practical service. This ensures our customers are well-prepared for the busy holiday season.
